RED DOT DAY
A big thanks to Matilda Dumas’ brave and generous friends who rugged up to attend the opening of her exhibition, Tablelands, last Sunday.
Following Covid-19 precautions, a few people at a time were able to take their time to enjoy the paintings and decide on a purchase while others braved the cold and caught up with friends around the firepit with a glass of wine.
Toby, me, Richard & Matilda
On these cold and blustery days, Matilda’s paintings, landscapes and the camellia series, are like a bright sunny day, particularly the Tablelands landscapes viewed from Matilda’s window. With the wet season these verdant landscapes capture time and place.

Kerry Campbell and Helen Stephens with the verdant landscapes.
The camellia series are a delight, painted with such confidence and are a promise of summer days. The red dots went up quickly on these paintings but there are still some available to purchase.
